As a 30-A based wedding planner, we cater to couples who are looking for that beautiful Southern-coastal wedding of their dreams.

Our planners offer different skill sets and life experiences that make us a cohesive team that thrives off of each other. We have seen a lot in over 20 years of combined experience and not a lot surprises us. We are prepared for everything our events have in store for us with excitement and true grace under pressure. Our innate abilities to overcome the unexpected are our best asset, as no two events are ever the same.

Peach and Pearl Events is a Full Service wedding design and planning company. We love to talk to you and get to know you via an initial discovery phone call to understand what your desires are for your event. It’s important to us that beyond trusting our expertise and experience, that our personalities connect as well.

From custom proposals to visual walkthroughs, 
our process is different for every client, but ultimately it is created to give each client peace of mind throughout the process. We’re here to offer our expertise on every aspect of your event, be it styling recommendations, custom-designed paper products, accommodations and more to make sure everything is intentionally tied together by common themes. We specialize in high-touch event experiences so we can really love on you and your guests. We believe in genuine connections and we truly value our unlimited check-ins with our clients.

our approach

A Southerner from metro-Atlanta (the Peach) who transplanted to South Walton (the Pearl) after college, Avis has a classic style that focuses on high touch service and intimate details. Avis was married in 2010 to a military veteran who now serves as a sergeant at the sheriff’s office. Their children are their world – a daughter who was born in January 2015 and a son born in February 2017. Together, they have always answered wanderlust’s call around the world. Thankfully, her parents live on 30A and love spending time with her munchkins… It takes a village!

Like many of her brides, family values are a stronghold in Avis’ life. In fact, looking back on her childhood it was evident that her path would eventually bring her to event planning. Like many southern homes, she was exposed to genuine southern hospitality and social gatherings. Her parents never turned down the opportunity to host the best annual gatherings from intimate multi-course meals to laid-back barbeques around the pool. She was heavily influenced by her parents who always welcomed in family and friends with the obvious intention to make them feel at home. Ultimately, it’s exactly the way she wants her clients and their guests to feel at each of her events.

Michelle Cruz

Victoria is the youngest of 3 girls and is a true Texan, born and raised. This Houston native dreamed of living on the beach all her life and was set out to find a job sight unseen! Needless to say, she completely fell in love with everything 30A has to offer and is now a proud local with her miniature Goldendoodle, Goose.

She grew up vacationing at the beach and making memories at her family's Colorado home. Victoria graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's of Arts and a certificate in Event Planning. Victoria developed a passion for weddings when she studied horticulture and flowers at school, but quickly learned that planning events was what really had her heart. Victoria knows how important your wedding day is and truly feels honored to play a part in it. There is never a problem too big to solve or a detail too small to get her attention. Her bubbly personality, genuine character, and southern charm are what makes her fast friends with brides and their families alike. She will ensure your day is everything you want it to be and more!

Michelle is a Miami native and moved to the Gulf Coast area back in 2001. She has been working alongside Avis for ten years, as an event day coordinator. Michelle has a way of putting everyone at ease with her sense of humor and lifetime experience in the service industry.

Alexa’s first experience in the wedding industry began in 2007 when she spent her senior year of high school working with wedding pros on Long Island. From that moment forward, she always knew she wanted to work in the events industry. After earning her BBA in Event Planning from LIM College in New York City, she eventually made the exciting move from the Big Apple to the sunshine state.

Alexa’s free time often involves spending way too much time at Barnes & Noble, exploring new restaurants in Tampa, planning events for her clients of her own planning biz, and traveling to warm places with her husband Rich.
