A destination wedding to Florida's Gulf Coast.
Bright hues and a unique tented wedding under the stars.
Dreamy weather and dining al fresco
It was a gorgeous day for H & H.
It was an honor to design H & H's destination wedding. They knew they wanted to lean towards a more private venue, they wanted to utilize a beautiful clear-top tent, and they were open to thinking outside-the-box when it came to the venue spaces. We chose to design a tent with the help of Myrtie Blue, that not only welcomed guests right into the ceremony, but would also flip into the band's stage and focal dancing location for the rest of the night.
A unique layout
Encouraged everyone to dance the night away!

Avis envisioned a large clear-top tent that would be split in half with a large band stage. Intricate draping details were sketched out to fully visualize how we would not only create a beautiful ceremony backdrop, but also a place where the band could load-in and soundcheck before the ceremony without the guests knowing any different. A quick cocktail hour around the adjacent pool allowed for a quick transformation of draping and for the band to fully appear. We designed the 3 strolling food stations to be positioned behind the band without actually seeing the back of the band. Guests were able to enjoy spirits from a large semi-circular bar, and dine al fresco around the large tent after the visited the food stations.
A PLACE FOR RICH CONVERSATIONS
Dancing the night away
Once the guests enjoyed a wide array of food choices, they were encouraged to head back into the newly transformed dancing location! Thankfully, East Coast Entertainment recommended a band who could be flexible with their setup. We made sure we could take care of the band so the band could perform their best all night!
The Details
In order to fully understand our layout and flipping the space,
Avis hired a graphic artist to create virtual renderings of the space. Thankfully, it was a huge help to visualize the space and the clients were sold on the whole concept! It's hard to explain something you've created in your head, so utilizing an artist to make those come to life really helps to present our design concepts.
